I was tought by the age of 6, how to inject my father with insulin. I was born to be one. My child has a rare disease, I was retrained by CHKD on many levels to care for my child the 4 yrs she did chemo. I have been a personal caregiver for the past 6ys. I have been taught by albemarle hospice on proper lifting, bathing bed ridden patience, proper wound care, bedding, etc. I was a "live in". I am certified in infectious diseases among other things. I am also CPR certified. My greatest strength is, I'm very caring. My greatest weakness, I'm too caring. I like to make people laugh/smile. I'm artsy crafty, I love long stories, and I find the older generation so interesting! Though I own a cleaning/housekeeping business that I love so much... I miss that companionship and joy of caring for some one. I am only looking for part-time employment. I do hope to hear back. Thanks in advance
