My favorite type of work with children is working with children with disabilities. Both of my sisters have disabilities such as being on the spectrum, among other disabilities, so not only do I have family experience, but I also have experience through being a part of a club in my high school called Best Buddies. I was president of the club for 2 years. Though I prefer to work with children with disabilities, or that is my "specialty", I also love working with children in general. I love making kids smile or just brightening up their days. It's amazing how much a child's laugh can brighten up a quiet, dark room.
