During this past school year, I was a Student Success Coach and After School Facilitator for City Year New Year at PS149Q. These were my responsibilities: -Provide individualized and small-group academic support in reading and math to elementary students, fostering engagement and motivation -Collaborate with teachers and school staff to create inclusive learning environments, focusing on social-emotional development and positive behavior reinforcement -Design and lead after-school activities, ensuring a safe and supportive atmosphere for all participants. Monitor student progress, track data, and adjust interventions as needed to promote consistent growth and achievement -Serve as a reliable liaison between students, families, and school personnel, maintaining open communication to address challenges and celebrate successes Prior to that I was a babysitter, camp counselor, and tutor.
