I like caring for seniors because as someone who is working to become a nurse and has experience in car for both the elderly and disabled, I feel I can put my skills to use to keep those that need care, fared for. I started caring for seniors when I began my job at Copper Country Mental Health as a Direct Care Staff member and took care of many people 60-90 years old. In my spare time, I like to spend time with my girlfriend, if I'm at home with my family I like to visit my grandparents. I also spend time with my cat and with the Huskies Pep Band at Michigan Tech. My skills include practice passing large amounts of medication, patience for those who may have difficulty communicating, and flexibility in scheduling.
