About Caitlin

I'm looking for a job that still allows for me to live at home and spend time with my own family. Hours when my kids are at school or evenings are ideal. I'm also open to short-term housesitting! I'm a mom of 3 humans, 2 dogs, and 1 box turtle. I love cats but am allergic. However, if you keep up on vacuuming, I'll be fine with my meds! I adore birds and reptiles and other mammals, and I've cared for fish for many years. I started caring for hamsters, dogs, and cats when I was 8. I trained my own dog in 4H as a teen and have been casually pet sitting for 20 years. I have fostered two cats and grew up with cats and hamsters. In my spare time, I like to read, write, and work on whatever project I have in progress. I am a former art teacher and love making mosaics, restoring vintage toys, and thrifting. My top 3 pet care skills include superior scritches and neck rubs, patience with skittish pets (foster or not), and individual attention because every pet has a unique personality.
