About Caitlin

I've owned dogs and a cat throughout my life. My dog is a Yorkie Dachshund mix who is 8 years old. I have watched dogs and cats for family and family friends. I worked at Wayne Metro for five years running an after-school program and summer program for elementary school students and helping to connect people to our social service programs. I'd describe my personality as patient, kind and trustworthy. Overall, I'm looking for a job that has a meaningful impact, in a supportive environment and allows for financial independence. I like helping others and working with children and pets. I started working with animals when I was in college at Wayne State University for my M. A. I worked as a K-12 substitute teacher during the school year and would pet sit for family and family friends during summer vacation, holidays and weekends. In my spare time, I like to read, play trivia and walk my dog. One thing you should know about me is I'll be responsible with your pet and your home.
