I have been a foster parent for the past 10 years, but before that I have been caring for children since I was 13 years old thought Sunday school and babysitting opportunities! As a special needs foster mom I am passionate about caring for people with different abilities. I have cared for infants, children, teens, and adults with Down syndrome, traumatic brain injuries, diabetes, cerebral palsy, non verbal, autism, multiple dystrophy, and much much more. I am a passionate person that loves to go above and beyond for my families. Growing up and now Mister Rogers is my role model! On my off days I love spending time with my kids and husband, hiking with my three giant dogs, and riding on my horse! I believe communication is key with my families and fun is a must!
