I graduated in May 2013 with a BS in early childhood special education. I also studied American Sign Language for three years, and was the president of the ASL Club during my senior year. I'm currently working towards a certificate through Gallaudet University. During my studies, I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to work with a developmental educator and become a part of his early intervention team. I worked with physical therapists, occupational therapists, service coordinators, speech-language pathologists, developmental educators, and nurses. I've gained experience in medical care such as G-tube feedings (continuous and bolus) and anal suppositories. I've worked with a music therapist and a teacher for the visually impaired. In the future, I hope to become a developmental educator or specialist and work with children who need me.
