About Caitlan

I graduated with a BA in Art with an emphasis in photography in 2013, and most recently in 2023 received a certification in archival studies. I started Nashvillehistoryx during the pandemic as a way to make our cities history more accessible to our community. While I love history, more than anything I love being around kids and making their worlds a safe place to explore and play. Over the last year I've worked at two daycares in Nashville, and while I loved it and learned so my much- I really miss the 1:1 interactions of being a nanny and not catching every plague that comes to a daycare center. My family is very important to me, and I have three nephews (18mo, 4yo, 6yo) and the sweetest dog named Nola (3yo)! I live in the Greenwood neighborhood of East Nashville, have a reliable car and clean driving record, and have CPR and first aid certifications. I'm an open book, ask me anything!
