I am currently a Preschool Teacher for children ages 3-5 years. I have worked in childcare and preschool classrooms with children ages newborn to 12 years for about 10 years. My skills include working with children to build social-emotional skills, adaptive skills, and academic skills through play-based learning experiences. They never know they are learning if they are having fun! I use positive behavior interventions and supports to guide children toward positive behaviors. I am currently in college for Early childhood development (birth-8 years), working toward my AAS, and later Bachelors of Education. I am looking for weekend or evening work. I have two children, who are 11 years and 9 years. They do well with other children and all animals so if they could tag a long for a job (when not in school or childcare) that would be optimal but I do have care for the them if the job requires.
