I am a student at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls, studying elementary education with a minor in early childhood development. I am nearing the end of my degree completion and will be completing student teaching in the fall. For three summers I worked as a counselor at a Girl Scout camp, Camp Roundelay, where I was charged with the overnight care of up to 8 girls ages 5-17 years old. I have spent an extensive amount of time in classrooms and childcare settings with children ages birth-8 years old. In these settings I was tasked with creating developmentally appropriate activities that were both entertaining and educational. I am an energetic person and love to be outside exploring nature. I believe play is essential to child development and love creating unique opportunities to learn through play. I also love literature and enjoy making story time an engaging and interactive experience.

Caillie was referred to me by mom, who is a professor of early childhood classes at UWRF and has spoken very highly of Caillie after she completed a semester with her in class. I have nothing but good things to say about our experience with Caillie watching our 2.5 year old daughter. She is not afraid to jump right in and very creative with playtime. Our daughter felt comfortable with her right away. Caillie is always quick to respond when I ask if she is free to babysit and always shows up early!!
