I started my caregiving experience when I was 23 years-old as my grandmother's primary caregiver until her death from cancer, and recently my aunt who died from liver failure. I have worked with adults with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities for 6 years, and currently I have been giving non-licensed medical care to an elderly bedridden woman for 2 years. I worked as a health clinic receptionist for Kaiser Permanente, for which I was trained to identify life threatening medical symptoms. I have been trained in CPR, first aid and medication administration management 4 separate times.
