I am a 24-year-old student at the University of Utah graduating with a degree in Elementary Education in May. I am currently finishing my student teaching as a fourth grade teacher at Mountain View Elementary. I have experience working with children with mild to moderate disabilities and absolutely love it. As for less professional experience, I have a sibling who was adopted with a physical disability and was diagnosed with an SLD. I also have two siblings with severe ADHD and ODD. Seeing my siblings struggle with school and their teachers was a huge motivator for me to go into elementary education and take multiple additional special education courses. A bit about me, I love to read, teach, cook, hike, and travel. I am basic life support certified and have a safe car. I am more than happy to help with care, cleaning, meal prepping, and planning enriching activities. I am looking for a full time position starting in April.
