It is my great pleasure to write this letter of recommendation for Brunilda. I simply cannot say enough about her and what she has meant to our daughter and our entire family over the past two years. She has truly become a part of our family and I know she will be a great asset wherever she goes. Let me assure you that you would be hard-pressed to find a better candidate for this position. She began caring for our daughter full time when she was just six months old. She has always cared for her as if she was her own, and they truly share a very special bond. In the two years they have spent together, she done so much more than merely supervise our daughter. She has shown great love and patience in working with her and takes great care to ensure she is learning, growing, and developing--physically, emotionally, and cognitively. As a testament to her care, by 13 months, our daughter could recognize all of the letters of the alphabet, and by the time she turned two, she could recognize over fifty sight words. She has also always been cognizant of helping our daughter build gross and fine motor skills and develop healthy social-emotional expression. People are always commenting on how verbal, social, smart, and well-behaved our child is, and She has undoubtedly played a big role in this, for which we are very grateful. In addition to the child care she provided, she also prepared a healthy breakfast and lunch for our daughter each day and helped with our daughter s laundry and some other basic cleaning tasks, which proved a tremendous help! Among her strengths are her punctuality and efficiency. I simply cannot understand how she gets so many things done in such a short time. She is also very thoughtful and generous, always remembering important dates in the lives of our family. We deeply regret that we are losing her as our nanny, but as our daughter has gotten older and will be starting preschool, we will no longer require her full-time services. We will sorely miss having her in our home every day, but I am confident that our family s loss will be another family s gain. We are hopeful that she will always remain a part of our lives, as she is irreplaceable! I highly recommend her and sincerely hope that you are quick to give her a position, as her warmth, attentive care, and inviting personality will be sure to endear her to your family.
