Hello everyone! I'm Bruna, 27yo, and I'm looking for full time and long term positions starting around May. I'm currently working with a family taking care of a sweet little boy who turns 1-year-old in April, I've been with them since August but unfortunately they will move in May. Before this family, I worked for 2 years with the same family, taking care of another little boy who was only 2 months old when I started. I have a great experience in infants, toddlers and older kids. I would be more than happy to provide my references. I'm strong driver, CPR and First AID certified, full vaccination. I'm also a good swimmer and I have my own transportation. I live in Fayetteville but currently work in Abeerden, so I am completely open to any of the areas. Bruna has been working with my family as an au pair since June 2022 (through June 2024). My son was 2 months old when she arrived, and just over 2 years old at the end of the exchange. My son absolutely adores her (my dog too!). She is the one person who knows my son's routine inside and out (and often even better than my husband!). As his au pair, she gets him ready for day care in the morning, drives him to/from daycare, and then cares for him in the afternoon until my husband and I get home from work. Occasionally, she has watched him overnight. Other responsibilities include changing diapers, feeding him (bottles when he was a baby, baby-led weaning at 6 months), putting him down for naps, and driving him places. She also helps with his dishes and laundry, and acts as my liaison with daycare. She also speaks to my son in Portuguese (in addition to English), and he is learning to speak and understand it, which is amazing! Bruna quickly learned my son's routine, and how I like things done around the house. She is a very responsible driver, and has been driving almost daily in the US for 2 years. I trust her completely with my son's care, and cannot recommend her more!
