About Brook

My name is Brook and I've been in childcare for a very long time. While attending the University of Idaho I studied early childhood development and education (ECE/D) but I did not obtain my degree. I worked part time as a nanny while in college and realized I really enjoyed the private side of childcare. However I have been working as a preschool teacher for quite some time and feel as though I have an aptitude for early childhood education. For the past year I have been working with the school age program at a local preschool which included ages 4-11. It was a lot of fun and I feel as though I have a wide range of experience with all ages. Last month I decided to retire from teaching, but not from childcare. I feel as though I have put a considerable amount of time in and now would love to get back to a more personalized type of care. I would love to be able to give all my attention to one child or one family.
