About Brooke

I work as a special education teacher primarily with students who are on the Autism spectrum, have ADHD or intellectual disabilities. I truly love my job and consider it a privilege to work alongside my colleagues to support students on their path to reaching their academic goals. I particularly enjoy teaching reading. Each student has different strengths, challenges, concerns and motivators. Getting to know each student well and create lessons suited to their academic/behavior needs is a challenge I truly enjoy. There are few things as rewarding as bearing witness the "lightbulb" moment when a student grasps a concept with which they have been struggling.
