My name is Brooke, and I am a Certified Child Life Specialist. If you are unfamiliar with what a Child Life Specialist is, we help children cope during stressful and traumatic life-changing situations and events. I am removing my Child Life hat and putting on my babysitting hat. I have experience working with all ages from infancy up to adult children with disabilities. I know the importance of continuing a consistent routine. Play is the universal language for children and is something that I am well-rehearsed in. During my services, I will keep caregivers updated with texts and pictures to aid in keeping minds at ease and keeping you informed on what we are up to. Brooke came to babysit 2 of my children and they absolutely. One of them is special needs and I was a little afraid to leave him with a stranger, but she was so good with him. She was very knowledgeable about children and did fun activities with them throughout the day. We will use her again.
