Hello Families! I am a very energetic, knowledgeable, childcare provider with over 30 years of experience. I have worked for babysitting and nanny groups in the past, and have recently relocated to the West Chester/Malvern area. My expertise include fun and engaging outdoor games and activities, arts and crafts, tutoring, sports and generally just being a fun person to hang out with! My passion is positively engaging with children, while fostering meaningful, open relationships with the families I work for. I'm comfortable with enforcing household rules, making suggestions, and communicating with parents about their child's day or any issues that arise. I don't mind light housework and like to keep things neat and tidy. I am first aid and CPR certified, a very strong swimmer, comfortable driving, love pets, and exploring all that the area has to offer! Brooke has cared for our son since he was an infant. She has a warm and easygoing sensibility with babies and small children. Brooke connects by getting down on the floor to play, chat, and read. Whenever she arrives, my son runs straight to her for a big hug. Honestly, Brooke is the only person (aside from my partner!) that I’ve ever trusted with overnight care, something I’d happily do again. She follows routines well but stays flexible when things don’t go as planned. Whether handling teething pains or a toddler's big feelings, I've never seen her be anything but calm and patient. When Brooke sits for us, she arrives on time, communicates proactively, and, most importantly, makes my son happy. I trust Brooke completely and highly recommend working with her.
