A preschool teacher turned private nanny, I'm looking to be a family's personal Miss Rachel and fill your children's day with age appropriate educational fun. I place a special emphasis on gross motor skill development with outdoor play, sensory play, and linguistic development. I'm fluent in American Sign Language and would love help your little one in learning their next language. I love reading, I play the ukulele, and I have years of experience with children of all ages with various abilities, disabilities, and special needs, including but not limited to, allergies, autism, speech delay, behavior problems, and hearing loss.

Brooke has been the most wonderful nanny to our now 1 year old daughter. Brooke has been with our family for 6 months, and has seen many stages of our daughter: weaning off of milk into solid meals, belly pushups to climbing everything, and introducing sign language and speech to starting to make progress on both. Brooke is responsible, communicative, understanding and most importantly caring. I’ve never had to worry about my daughter in her care and am appreciative of her thoughtfulness towards planning activities based on our daughter’s mood. It is with sadness that we’ve had to make the tough decision to not continue with Monday-Friday nanny care due to the instability of my job at the moment, but we will be calling on her for occasional sitting. Any family would be lucky to have her caring for your children. More praise for Brooke below. -She’s fluent in ASL which is great for babies/children and for adults to learn more signs. -She’s very observant, she saw the signs that my daughter was getting sick before I did. -She consistently asks how she can help around the house. -She’s been flexible if I need her to stay late or come in early.
