About Brooke

I graduated this past spring (2016) with a bachelor's degree in psychology, a minor in anthropology and a minor in aging and health. My education has given me a rich background in the psychology of children, various cultures of families and special education. I have past experience as a behavior therapist working with pre-k children with autism. I am also certified in CPR and first aid. In addition, I worked as a certified lifeguard for approximately 7 years. I have been studying and learning ASL (American Sign Language) for the past couple of years, I am very passionate towards signing with children and eventually would like to get certified. I consider myself very active as I was a collegiate athlete. I am also very passionate about healthy cooking and healthy living. In terms of child care, I have experience nannying with two boys for about a year, one was 6 months and the second was 2 years old. I am currently working with a baby girl for about 8 months now.
