I attended the OTA program at NEITT and completed the program . I also did my internship at the Schwartz center in MA . My other internship was an elementary school where I assisted the OT in the SPED program in all aspects of OT therapy . My experience is also personal because one of my children had a learning disability, sensory issues as well as ADHD and was on an IEP during all the years of schooling. I understand the level of communication, compassion and understanding it takes to successfully work with children & adults with special needs . Lastly I would treat your child as I would my own with kindness and patience!!!
