About Brock

I like working with kids because they bring so much joy and I love seeing them learn new things. I love getting to teach them how to manage their feelings and grow to be healthy, balanced adults. I'm looking for a job that allows my to fulfill my purpose of making a difference in kids' lives and make parents' lives easier by having a responsible caregiver who is trustworthy. I started working with kids as a paraprofessional in a special education classroom. I had to take time off to care for my high-risk premature newborn, but then got a RBT license and continued my career working with kids on the spectrum in a clinical setting. I enjoyed that job, but am looking to find a family that I can serve more long term. My skills include helping regulate challenging behavior using proven techniques I have learned as a registered behavioral therapist, setting boundaries with children to provide them with a safe and fun place to thrive, and multitasking while remaining attentive to details.
