I've worked with a teen who then later turned adult. She had cognitive and psychical delays due to complications during her mothers birth. I was there as a stand in system for parents when they were not able to cook breakfast for her or stay with her in the evening. Other tasks I held were supporting her and the family getting her off to school. I helped her get as much exercise daily. I arranged and helped her get to another appointments including psychical therapy, PE coach, and tutoring in addition to activities I would run with her such as walking the dog to the park, playing basketball with her brother, and grocery shopping.
