In the past, I worked as a one-to-one aide and the art teacher at a nonpublic school for children with ASD and other developmental disorders. While working as a preschool teacher, I developed a screener to assess whether children in a mainstream ECE program might benefit from supportive intervention. My master's degree is in Infant Mental Health, with a strong educational background in identifying and supporting young children and their families through exceptional circumstances of all kinds. During my doctoral program, I worked on a research project in Early Head Start, a program that strives to include children with a range of abilities.
