My name's Brittany & I graduated from SJSU May '18 w/ a BA in Child & Adolescent Development, I now want to work w/ children & families in a hospital setting & will be active in 1-2 online courses @ a time. I work PT @ Nike & have a flexible schedule. Along w/ previous nannying I interned @ 4 elementary schools & taught 1st&2nd grade, special needs preschool, 4th/5th special needs, & middle school special needs. I also volunteered for CHAC'S FIRST 5 working w/ children ages 1-5. I did a Movetrition class & taught nutrition. I volunteered for a Let's Get Moving class for CHAC'S FIRST 5, 1-5yo, playing games & activities to keep the children moving. I love outside activities, arts/crafts, & reading. I believe in creating a positive environment for children to thrive in. I prefer explaining to children what they did wrong & why it may be wrong instead of use of other types of punishment, but I respect & will follow your families preferred way. She is very friendly and my children loved her! Being a first time user of Care.com I was uneasy at first about leaving my children with someone I didn't know too well. Once I met Britt I felt more comfortable. I will definitely hire her again for date nights!
