Hi there! To tell you a little about myself, I have almost completed my degree in Human Development and Family Sciences (Only 3 more classes left!). This is basically the psychology and anatomy of children and adults in their development. In pursuing this degree, I have taken several classes regarding child/adolescent psychopathology. I have also completed an internship with those who have intellectual and development disabilities such as Down Syndrome, Autism, IDD, students with seizures, students bound to a wheelchair, the blind, the hard of hearing, and those with many other diagnoses. I have helped these individuals to practice emotion regulation and soothing techniques. I also just completed a position as a Special Needs Caregiver for the past 5 months working with an individual one-on-one. I can supply further details on that if needed.
