I like caring for seniors because the cause is close to my heart. I lost my grandmother to Alzheimer's and that is why I decided to get into this line of work. I always saw the exceptional care that the caregivers gave my grandmother when they came into the home and I wanted to do the same for families who were going through what my family went through. I understand how difficult the transition can be and I know how important it is that the family knows their loved one is getting the care they deserve. I pride myself on giving exceptional care to the people I care for. I am here to advocate for not only the ones I am caring for, but also their families. My skills include: -Helping a resident work through an expression. I pride myself on my approach. Approach is everything when it comes to memory care. -Patience. I believe that patience is one of the most important skills you need to have when it comes to memory care.
