Hi there my name is Brittany. I love kids and animals! I have been babysitting for families for the last 3 years. I have worked with children from infancy to as old as 13 years old. I have helped with children with different special-needs and I have helped families that have up to 4 children in the same household ranging from all ages. I have volunteered in the big brother big sister program with a little I had adopted and spent time with. I love being able to help and give back to families and develop new connections and relationships in my community. It is important to me to connect with children and give them a safe space to communicate their needs and feelings. I love having fun with kids and doing activities with them. I have done everything from at home games, arts and crafts, to taking them out to the park, the movie theaters, the library and museums. My schedule is very flexible since I am doing online college. Brittany was absolutely wonderful! I work from home and needed someone to watch my four month old who needed to stay home from daycare. She arrived right on time each time we hired her and was flexible when we had to make schedule changes. She spent the day rocking my son, playing nursery songs for him on her phone and making sure he was comfortable. She was very attentive and engaging with my son. Being in the house while she was here I got to hear several times where she got my son laughing for several minutes, which made me feel good that he was so happy. When he got fussy she was very calm and was able to figure out how to calm him down by trying different ways of soothing him. Absolutely recommend and she is on my speed dial for future care!
