About Brittany

I am from a very small town in Northern Michigan. I graduated in 2008 and I am now living in Webberville with my husband and two children. I had my first child in 2015. I had been working as a nanny for 3 years for one family so other than the 6 weeks of maternity leave, my daughter has been coming to work with me. In spring of 2018 we welcomed a sweet baby boy into our family and again other than my maternity leave I was bringing them both to work with me. Was it a challenge at first? of course, most new things are. It's also very rewarding for the children. Not only do they get the attention from having a nanny (as oppose to a daycare with way more children) they also get to work on their social development skills; sharing, communication, working together as a team, being a leader, following lead, speech, challenging one another, etc. I always try to plan crafts, toys, and field trips around the children age group. I love the nature of childcare and the responsibility it entails.
