About Brittany

I am the mom of a tween and love every minute of it! When my daughter is with her Dad I have extra time on my hands and I'd like to put that time to good use. I grew up in a family of teachers and spent many evenings helping to grade papers or set up classrooms. I have a Bachelors degree from KU in Psychology with an emphasis in children & families. I was also a Girl Scout leader for 5 years. I am patient and even keeled in nature. I prioritize open communication with parents, using their preferred method- you are the expert on your family and I will follow your lead. In my role, I am very comfortable enforcing household rules while maintaining a positive and nurturing environment. I enjoy engaging children in educational games that promote learning and development, as well as board games and puzzles for some friendly competition.
