About Brigette

I'd describe my personality as patient, caring, reliable. I like tutoring because I want to bridge the learning gap for children who struggle in the classroom. I'm looking for a job that allows me to help students feel confident in their reading and math abilities. I started tutoring when I started teaching. In my spare time, I like to read and run. One thing you should know about me is I absolutely love reading and coaching. My skills include teaching reading by focusing on MSV method (meaning, structure, visual) with phonics as a focus. I've taught remediated as well as accelerated math with a focus on number sense. I use multiple methods in my teaching.
