About Bridget

For the past four years, I've worked at a summer camp, which has greatly influenced my passion for teaching. Each summer, I was responsible for guiding and mentoring children, ages 5 to 12, creating fun activities, and ensuring a positive environment. This experience motivated me to pursue a degree in Elementary Education at West Virginia University. During my time at WVU, I have learned a lot about child development and teaching methods. My studies have provided me with a strong foundation in educational principles. This fall I will be a senior at West Virginia while also balancing being a student athlete on the rowing team. This past year, I had the incredible opportunity to student teach a 1st-grade class. This experience was the highlight of my academic journey, allowing me to apply what I learned in real-time.
