About Bridget

I'm a caregiver, grad student and have worked in special education for the past 4 years. I love working with kids because it allows me to use my creativity and engage with them in a fun way. However, it's important to strike a balance between fun and being an authority figure when needed, My philosophy is to show kids interest and respect, and they will often respect you back. I've worked with children of all ages, and I'm comfortable caring for 2 children at once. I enjoy playing board games and puzzles, crafts, and generally just following the child's lead. I follow the parents' preferred communication method to keep them informed about their child's day and any issues that arise. I have a car, and I'm comfortable with pets.
