About Briar

Hi! My name is Briar, and I'm a recent graduate of Villanova University, with plans to attend medical school. I have over 3 years of tutoring experience, both as a private tutor and as a peer tutor at my university. I specialize in tutoring high school and college-level sciences, with a particular focus on General Chemistry, General Biology, and Organic Chemistry at the college level. Science courses can be very challenging! My goal as a tutor is to ensure that my tutees never feel dumb or discouraged. I truly believe there are no dumb questions, and I'm happy to explain concepts in different ways until they make sense to you. My priority is to make challenging concepts clear and approachable, and to help students build confidence in their abilities. Whether you're preparing for an exam, needing help with a tricky topic, or building better studying skills, I'm here to help! Additionally, I offer both in-person or zoom modalities.
