I graduated with a degree in psychology from New York University. I then transitioned to Teach For America, where I taught elementary/middle school at a bilingual school for 2 years in San Jose. I fell in love with the behavioral health field and worked as an ABA program supervisor all over the Bay Area for 3 years. I worked with kids with Autism and varying levels of developmental deficits, including nonverbal, social-emotional delays, SIB, cognitive functioning, as well as self-help/daily living skills. I left home intervention after I had my daughter and was fortunate to find my current position as a classroom behavior specialist working with a 3rd/4th grade blend classroom. I work for a non-public school that works with students who have emotional disturbance, specific learning disabilities, other health impairments, and autism. I create and implement behavior and individualized education plans for 11 kids. currently on break and look to be of service to a family!
