I'm proud to say my great grandmother is alive and doing well these days. Since I could remember, I've been by her side. As I grew up I have taken responsibility in taking care of her for the past 3 - 5 years since her husband passed. I've recently earned my Medical Assisting Certificate and plan on getting my CNA certification, because I realized this is something I want to do forever. Not everyone is for a job like this, but I believe I am. I have the utmost respect for the elderly, for I believe their souls are filled with knowledge and intellect that I hope I could one day have the pleasure of exploring.
