I've worked with the autistic and developmentally disabled adults as my second job for about 2 to 3 years now. I work for a program that's houses people with many different types of disorders and behaviors. I love my job, very rewarding! I've learned a lot and I am still learning a lot, every day is a new day with a new set of challenges, but from what I have learned I would love to apply to help someone out! If it's something that is out of my comfort zone, I'm always willing to try to stick around and have you show me what the best way to handle situations would be or how you're loved one should be approached, but if it isn't something that's a good fit, that's okay too and we can go our separate ways.
