I am a PreK Teacher with my BA in elementary education. I have over a decade of experience working with children in various settings. I grew up one of seven siblings and now have 4 nieces and nephews. I have been a camp counselor, a teacher, and a behavioral therapist. My general approach aligns with gentle parenting. Through this lens, I see behavior as communication and an opportunity for learning. Social and emotional growth is paramount to understanding ourselves and others. I also strive to facilitate a love of self, community, and the wonders of the world. Fostering a growth mindset is also important as studies show it to be the best indicator of future success and happiness. I am happy to keep your kiddo entertained, tutor, help with chores, and implement behavioral plans. I am trained in Applied Behavioral Analysis and have years of work specifically within the special needs population. I am fun and silly, yet serious when appropriate.
