I am currently in school studying child psychology in hopes of going into a field working with children with special needs. I have considered going into speech or occupational therapy, working in schools in PPCD classrooms, or possibly specializing in working with people with down syndrome. I have always had a lot of patience when it comes to people with special needs, and have always had a particular love for people with down syndrome! I have volunteered in PPCD classrooms because my mom is a school psychologist and was able to set up a few opportunities for me to do so. I'd love to start gaining more and more direct, hands on experience!
