I have been tutoring for the past 17 years. I specialize in reading and math for 1st - 8th grades. I charge a little more than the average tutor because my sessions are short-term and focused. I will accurately diagnose your child's challenges and create a tutoring plan customized to your child's needs. I don't gloss over your child's academic problems, I help you solve them. Specifically, I can help your child in: Reading comprehension (understanding what he/she reads); Phonics (sounding out words); Reading Fluency (reading accuracy, speed, and expression); Common Core Math (Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th grades); Middle School Reading (6th, 7th, 8th grades) Middle School Math (6th, 7th, 8th grades). Brian did a fantastic job with my son. My son was not reading at a second grade level at all. After just a few lessons with Brian he was reading at grade level. He loved working with Brian. Brian was fun, encouraging and engaging. He kept my son working hard without him knowing it. I would highly recommend Brian if your child is struggling with reading! He is professional, trustworthy, and really great at teaching kids.
