About Brian

I transitioned into early childhood education in September 2014, working predominantly as a teaching artist in schools across the city (grade levels ranging from k-8). Since then my passion and joy for working with children has only grown. My biggest strength in working with young ones is my instinct and my ability to establish both compassion and respect with each child I work with. My primary goal working with any child, is for them to grow in their independence and overall decision making. I value and appreciate the uniqueness of each child and believe that quality child care requires a selfless adult always willing to put a child's unique needs above their own ego. I would like to apply my skills and experience to taking care of younger children outside of a school setting. I believe I would make a kind, responsible, compassionate and creative part time care taker for any family I have the chance to work with. And once more, it is a job I would love going to everyday.
