I have worked as a nanny and housekeeper for the past 10 years, and for the past 5 years have been the primary care provider for my elderly grandfather who has cancer. My responsibilities have included medication management, accompanying to doctors appointments and keeping track of medical details, companionship, and meal preparation. I also spent 2 summers working at an assisted living center where I lead creative workshops for elderly residents and organized a number of different activities for them to stay active throughout the day!
