Hello! My name is Briana and I love teaching and working with youth! I have a background in ABA and can adhere to a strict schedule as well as detailed documentation of what occurs throughout the day if needed. I also am able to understand and apply accommodations to tutoring if a student may have an IEP or 504. Special needs care available. I am experienced and trained in working with students who exhibit maladaptive behaviors such as aggression, tantrums, eloping, and verbal outbursts. I like to keep children active and on a schedule for many reasons. 1. it creates a sense of normalcy when a routine is established and with me coming in as extra support every so often it is nice that they know what to expect when I arrive to avoid even more emotions about parents and or guardians leaving. 2. It keeps them active throughout the day so that they aren't rambunctious when parents arrive! 3. It keeps me and the children present with our day!
