About Brent

I spent the last five years working full-time as a wildland firefighter so I take pride in my work and I value professionalism and a good work ethic. I don't fight fire in the winter and right now I'm looking for a job where I can contribute meaningfully, and feel a sense of accomplishment at the end of the day. I also enjoy dog walking and hands-on yard work. I've seen firsthand how much of a difference personalized support can make. It's rewarding to help someone build their confidence and understanding. I started tutoring a few years ago when I began helping my two younger sisters with their schoolwork. Since then, I've continued tutoring informally whenever I've had the chance, and it's something I genuinely enjoy. I love to mountain bike, play ultimate frisbee, go fishing, and spend time near the beach. I'd describe my personality as thoughtful, hardworking, and patient and my top skills are clear communication, empathy, and organization.
