About Brenna

Hello! I would love the chance to help students succeed in school! My strength is in Math. I have a Bachelors Degree in Applied Mathematics with Minors in Art and Psych. I have experience tutoring students from elementary through college level. During the week I have a 9-5 as an Actuarial Analyst and I am available evenings to tutor. I'd describe my personality as empathetic, trustworthy, and patient. I like tutoring because I find joy in helping students become confident in their knowledge and abilities. I find it to be a strength to ask for help and take the extra time to really understand difficult concepts. I started tutoring when I was in High School and all throughout college. Most of my experience is in tutoring math but I am open to helping in other areas as well. In my spare time, I like to spend time with family and friends. I also enjoy cooking, making pottery, and making other various crafts. My skills include communication, patience, and subject matter expertise.
