Given my care needs as a young professional with cerebral palsy from birth, I have hired and trained a staff of personal care attendants for nearly 10 years (5-7 individuals per year, sometimes more). I would easily place Brenda in my top 3 hires! In working with both my morning (dressing, showering, toileting, and meal prep) and evening routines (transportation, toileting, cleaning/laundry, and meal prep), Brenda was knowledgeable, resourceful, and accommodating. She even went above and beyond in picking up extra hours when I went through periods of other staff turnover and sickness while also helping me to attend many valued community outings and volunteer commitments. My only regret is that I moved out of state recently, so I no longer get to enjoy Brenda's company, conversation, and coffee on a regular basis!
