Are you looking for an energetic and loving babysitter? As an informal educator with experience in a school, museum, zoo and aquarium setting I am familiar with the joys and challenges of working with children. As a babysitter for younger children I focus on encouraging curiosity and learning through sensory-rich and child-lead play. I am familiar with building skills in all developmental domains of children between the ages 2-6. With older kids I work towards their responsibilities (think school work, chores, pets) and help foster positive feelings towards their hobbies (piano practice, reading, legos). On date nights/one-time event occasions I'm happy to help stay on your families regular routine or help create a fun experience with a movie nigh or field trip to parks/library/zoo. Not fluent in French but happy to help with beginner level work and have experience with logging Rosetta Stone hours and helping kids learn conjugations.
