I would like to advise anyone considering hiring Brenda as a sitter to proceed with caution. Initially, her responses were prompt, and she appeared genuinely interested in the job I posted. After discussing the position with her, she expressed enthusiasm about assisting on the scheduled date. I informed her that I would reach out the day before the appointment to confirm her availability, as we had discussed. Approximately a week later, I followed up as planned, and although her response time had noticeably slowed compared to our earlier communications, she did confirm her availability. Despite my concerns regarding her delayed responses, I remained optimistic. However, on the morning of the appointment, around 1:28 AM, I received a text from her stating that she would not be able to attend the 9:30 AM appointment due to her father testing positive for COVID-19. While I understand that this is an unfortunate situation, I found it inconsiderate to receive this information so close to the appointment time. Therefore, I recommend exercising caution before booking her, as my experience has been quite troubling.
