I have to be honest, my bio/experience is mostly focused on senior care. But, I'm also the mother of 7, so I feel like there's so much more that I'm capable of handling. I'm a state certified caregiver, smarter than average and quick on my feet. My certification includes first aid and CPR. I also maintain a 5 star rating. Brenda has been caring for my brother-in-law, who lives with us and is a special needs adult, since February. She is caring and compassionate, and very patient, which is important in this situation. Brenda assists Mike with activities of daily living which includes showering, washing his hair and shaving him, as well as preparing meals and doing his laundry and some light cleaning. Prior to COVID-19, he attended a workshop for special needs adults but it is too far away. She has been proactive in trying to incorporate other activities into his daily routine that are educational as well as taking him for walks outside and on occasional outings. We are pleased with Brenda's positivity and her ability to care for my brother-in-law on a daily basis (Mon-Fri).
